CSNY

Crosby Stills Nash and the other one, kindly posed for a photo the other day whilst they were having their usual xmas pint meet up in The Olde Boar's Head, Middleton. Stills plumbed for his favourite half a Fosters with a lime top, Nash stayed faithful to his packet of cheese and onion Walkers, saying "for the record, you just can't get these o'er the pond". Everybody laughed.

Sunn O)))lives

Sunn O))) revealed a love for the decadent olive last night after their Manchester show, hinting that this is what the O)) stood for, rather than the brand of amp to which, incidentally, they were unfamiliar with.

Thanks BD.

BEACH FUZZ TAPE

Golden Lab uses nouse and follows the band wagon into the burgeoning cassette industry.

Actual tracks on this piece of plastic; we're talking sad/happy/peck/buzz -something for every mood, including a couple of pumped up "fuck you, I'm driving at 35mph" blinders. Other picks include the "oo" track* - similar to Quick's OO Burger, two become one, where NM cleverly disguises his highest voco-pitch (classic) as a synth (mushroom shiz), and "tom's number"* where TS takes us on an aubrey-weirdsley journey round the fret board, which feels like the day you realised you like green olives.

soap scum

The soap had foamed over many of the visitors that had come to stay. It had now been whittled down to the label along a two inch width of soap to a depth of 4mm. The soap had enjoyed a life of fanciful lather and therefore was, of course, perpetually dirty; the skin was now rife with bacteria, body debris and other bathroom scum. However, it was nice to think that the impenetrable core would always be clean.

Their early stuff

A perky picture of The Beatles, a band of friendly mop-tops from our green isle's very own liverpool. It's called liverpool because its waters are like the delicious lipid-rich tissues of foie gras from a plump french goose. In other words, lots of people used to get drugs into england via liverpool then store them in their livers.

Century Plants Artwork

Recent artwork for Century Plants (Albany heavy psych drone duo and all-round good guys). Its fate is hanging in the rafters, originally for LP insert but now possibly bumped to LP sleeve. Made use of French inks and playground knowledge of psychology GCSE.
